This award given by an expert jury consolidates Anecoop Bodegas as one of the world’s most highly regarded wineries. Earlier this year, the Berlin Wine Trophy competition awarded Anecoop the distinction of «Best Cooperative in Spain» for the third time and, in 2019, it featured once again in the World Ranking of Wines & Spirits (WRW&S)’s Top 30 wineries.

Anecoop Bodegas won a total of 37 medals, 22 Gold and 15 Silver, in the 27th German Mundus Vini competition, promoted by the Meininger publishing house.

Valencia, 8 September 2020 – The gold medals went to 22 wines from Anecoop Bodegas’ two member wine cooperatives, Bodega La Viña (La Font de la Figuera) and Bodegas Reymos (Cheste), both under the Valencia Protected Designation of Origin, as well as to Bodegas San Martín from the Navarre DO. In view of the excellent results achieved, the organisation decided to recognise Anecoop Bodegas as «Best Producer Spain».

This was the 27th event held, which is promoted by the Meininger publishing house, and  included a jury made up of 120 wine experts, who tasted and judged almost 4,500 wines from all over the world over four days, and awarded 13 Grand Gold Medals, 920 Gold Medals and 848 Silver Medals.
