Our main objective is to ensure that our grower members can continue to make a living from the land and that society enjoys safe and healthy produce.

We strive to implement ethical and responsible practices for people, economic development and the environment.

Anecoop Sustainability Observatory

The future of the agri-food industry is sustainable.

Anecoop’s Sustainability Observatory enables our member organisations to measure, evaluate and transform their data, turning it into practical strategies that drive the sustainability and competitiveness of their businesses.

Innovation in varieties and cultivation techniques

We innovate constantly at our two private research centres and in our Biotech laboratory to increase our members’ profitability:

offering our customers higher value-added alternatives by  improving characteristics such as flavour, size and colour.

developing top-quality consumer products that are adapted to the latest production challenges affecting production, with a focus on climate change and pest and disease control.

improving cultivation techniques to boost productivity, make better use of resources and reduce environmental impact, and

designing production programmes that give our members access to new, more modern varieties.

Anecoop Foundation

innovacion-1

The Masía del Doctor experimental field station is located near Valencia and is one of the largest privately- owned trial centres in Europe, with over 20 hectares under cultivation.

We study the behaviour of around 500 annual fruit and vegetable varieties at the centre.

UAL Foundation

innovacion-2

The UAL-ANECOOP Foundation’s Innovation and Technology Centre was set up in 2004 to coordinate our research and trials with the University of Almeria.

In 2008, it was recognised as an Andalusian Knowledge Agent in the Innovation and Technology Centre category.

This Foundation focuses on greenhouse crop research, as well as enabling newly graduated agricultural engineers to gain their first experience of the world of work.

Management innovation

We deploy management innovation initiatives, such as our company and product groups to respond to environmental challenges and market demands and manage our company more efficiently.
