The environmental partnership between Anecoop and IFCO Systems, in figures
IFCO Systems, a company specialising in reusable packaging, presented Anecoop with the environmental savings certificate for the year 2025 at the Fruit Logistica trade fair, held in Berlin last February.
The certificate details the savings generated jointly by IFCO and the Anecoop Group, based on data from all the companies within its sales network. Here are some of them:
- 2,946,105 kg of CO2, equivalent to 2,129 cars off the road for a year
- 274,296 m3 of water, equivalent to 6,857,393 five-minute showers
- 37,447 GJ of energy, or, to put it another way, 19,790 light bulbs for a year
Silvia Álvarez, Head of Materials at Anecoop, received the certificate from Mónica Antelo, Account Manager at IFCO.
